Where are you?
E & E Auctions is headquartered in Stamford NY (NOT Connecticut ☺) in the beautiful northern foothills of the Catskills. We are approximately one hour from Hudson NY and one hour from Albany NY.
How do I bid?
For any online auction, the first step is to make sure you are registered with the auction platform (liveauctioneers.com or auctionninja.com.) Then you may place bids on items prior to the end of the sale, with the understanding that you may be outbid by someone else. Or you can wait until the day and time of the auction, and bid “live” during the sale.
Can I preview items before a sale?
Yes, but preview is by appointment as our facility is not staffed full-time. Please call, text or email to schedule a time to visit! Additionally you may ask for more information or photos of a particular lot prior to auction day.
How do I pick up my auction wins?
For each auction, there will be detailed instructions for pick-up (or in some cases, shipping) of your items on the auction site. Please read all the instructions, and don’t hesitate to text or email if you have a question.
What if I can’t pick my items up myself?
Again, it depends on the sale and the item(s.) The first step is always to read the instructions for the particular auction you are bidding in. Next, you can reach out to us to make arrangements for:
Shipping via USPS or UPS.
Scheduling an alternate day for pick up.
Arranging for a shipper to pick up in your stead. We do have a list of names of shippers for hire. We can provide you with that on request.
How do I consign items to sell?
We do take consignments – anywhere from one item to entire estates. We charge a percentage of the hammer price for our services. Items can be delivered to us once we have an agreement, or we can pack and move items for you.
